FACTORS RELATED TO IMPLEMENTATION THE DRAFT OF PHARMACEUTICAL SERVICES STANDARD AT DISPENSARY IN JAKARTA

Abstract. Pharmaceutical services had changed from the drug as commodity to become pharmaceutical care. To assure the quality of pharmaceutical services and protect the profession of pharmacist, the Ministry of Health cooperates with ISFI (Indonesian Pharmacist Association) had compiled the draft of pharmaceutical services standard in 2003. The objective of study were to know the implementation of the draft of pharmaceutical services standard and to know the factors related to implementation the draft of pharmaceutical services standard. Research desain was a cross sectional study to 68 pharmacists who work at dispensaries in Jakarta in 2003. Data were collected by proportional of number of dispensaries in townships of Jakarta. Data collecting covered ownership of dispensary, amount of money, attendance of pharmacist and implementation the draft of pharmaceutical services standard in dispensary. Data analysis was conducted with correlation test and multivariat regression test. The conclusion of the research were: (1) The average score of the draft of pharmaceutical services standard in dispensary was 61.02% the category was not good, especially about the drug information services (2) Multivariat analysis among ownership of dispensary, amount orf money, and pharmacist�s attendance showed that only pharmacist�s attendance was related to implementation of the draft of pharmaceutical services standard.
